Wow my second post on coffee. I was checking out the Starbucks web site today and saw this add.I have to say this is one of the reasons I love Starbucks. The coffee giant that Starbucks has become they have realized that they have lost their way and are willing to do something about it.
1. Get back to their roots by providing an incredible coffee experience.
2. Retrain their employees about espresso and coffee.
3. Make the changes necessary regardless of what others might say.
I know there are some people that don’t like Starbucks, but I truly do think they are willing to make the right changes that might not please everybody but will get them back to what they want to be, the Third Place.
Hats off to Howard for grabbing hold of the reigns and realizing the changes that have to be made and then making them.
Imagine if we as the church could get there. Truly take a good hard look a at what we are doing and then have the courage to make the changes we need to make regardless of what people might say because that is always how it has been done.
Looking forward to seeing the transformation at Starbucks and excited for the Pike’s Place Blend to make it up to Canada.
