Very Important

I have to say I am pretty excited about our new series at youth we are about to launch. I love working with young people and I feel my role is to provide them with more then just a hang out spot on Friday nights. I want to make sure that every young person that comes through our doors can hear a message that will challenge them, inspire them, and give them something they can walk away with to see change. This Friday we are starting a series called The Good Fight. This whole series is geared towards relationships with parents and how import they are. All families are different, unique, quirky, and maybe even a little weird, but one thing is the same with every family, they all fight. Some families are very vocal; others quietly stuff their frustrations inside. But regardless of how families fight, every family decides what they are going to fight over. Fighting about rules and issues will always drive us apart, but there is another way. What if we began to fight for relationship? What if our sole objective was to know each other and to honor each other? The Good Fight series will encourage our students to stay in the fight and never give up on their relationship with their parents.

It is going to be a great series. You can check it out at www.sixonethree.org
